
The UNC Turner Syndrome Clinic provides multidisciplinary care to improve the lives of patients, also known as “butterflies.” 11-year-old Hope shares her experience as a butterfly in this video produced for Endeavors, UNC’s research magazine.

“I just wish more people knew that it doesn’t affect you much,” Hope shares. “It does make you short. And you do have to go to the doctor more. But you’re still you. You’re still someone. And it doesn’t define you.”
